Compare the images above. The small, square image on the bottom left is the original selfie that Mary had used on her LinkedIn profile. The large image [...]

Photographing Food – The Icing On The Cake!

Today I received a lovely compliment on Facebook regarding my event photography. I've worked with a wonderful corporate client, The Office Depot Foundation, for almost 7 years. Their events involve educational outreach by supporting programs that enhance quality of life for children. What does this have to do with food photography? We'll get there.... It Tastes As Good As It Looks!   We recently photographed an event to provide thousands of sackpacks of school supplies to local schools, and we'll be photographing an upcoming event featuring a well known anti-bullying speaker. We're really looking forward to that. The [...]

It’s A Baby Shower!

3 Chicks That Click loves to photograph events - corporate and family. We've photographed many baby showers, as well as anniversary parties (Happy 60th and 62nd parties in one year), reunions, and graduations. Tiny socks! Everyone is excited at a baby shower. The mother to be and her own family, all the kids that were the subjects of their own showers in the past, and those that are planning to start families in the future. Who doesn't love the tiny clothes, the miniature diapers, the toys, and the various pieces of equipment that one never knew one needed, [...]

Website Migration – A Tale of Two Sites

What's in a website migration? For anyone who had seen the old 3 Chicks That Click web site, you know it focused (pun intended) mostly on weddings. We did have a corporate site, corporate.3chicksthatclick.com, that showcased our corporate client work. But the main site featured weddings. But really, did having two sites benefit my business strategy and brand identity? The answer resulted in a major website migration. Executive Portrait After several years of maintaining both sites - editing, uploading, and organizing different sets of images, creating two sets of content, carefully editing wedding and corporate testimonials and then [...]

What Defines Diamond Studded Customer Service? Relationships!

Jovi Jewelry Can Create Any Custom Designed Engagement Ring What Defines Diamond Studded Customer Service? Relationships! A recent couple whose wedding we photographed bought their engagement and wedding rings from a local jeweler, Jovi Fine Jewelry in Middletown, NJ. I had been familiar with Jovi Jewelry and their owners, Yoel and Susan, for over six years, having belonged to a gym in the same shopping plaza. I considered myself a casual customer, as I would get watch batteries replaced, as well as minor jewelry repairs done. The staff was always friendly and helpful, their customer service was great, [...]
